Stellar Code (Arecibo: I) (Premiere) is a live electronic piece that explores humanity’s attempt to communicate across the cosmos. Integrating the WOW signal, the CP1919 pulsar recording, and the iconic Arecibo message, the piece weaves together sonified interstellar data and ethereal textures, partly plant controlled via PlantWave, reflecting on the mystery and ambition of decoding and transmitting messages through the vastness of space.

Freddy (I) is a sonification of Cyclone Freddy, which hit East and Southern Africa in February and March 2023. Using the data from JTWC (Joint Typhoon Warning Center), the cyclone is sonified spatially as if the listener were at the centre of the cyclone, with wind speeds sonified from the NE, SE, SW and NW quadrants that JTWC tracked 4 times each day. Also sonified is the eye of the cyclone appearing, and sounds from 4 catastrophically hit landing points are spatialised as they approach the cyclone: the fishing vessel LV Lien Sheng Fa which disappeared on 20 Feb; Mananjary in Madagascar; Vilankulos, Mozambique; and Blantyre, Malawi.

VorticeX is an extended live electronics project by British electronics composer Charlotte Adams, exploring spatialisation, plant controlled instruments and devices, analog electroacoustic elements and sonification. Her material builds on her electroacoustics project Vortichez, featured on releases by Obs / Elastic Dreams / Bivouac Recording / RMN Classical / Espaces Sonores, and selected for the Arts & Science Days (Bourges) and BEAST FEaST (University of Birmingham) in 2018. She has lived in Recife, Brazil since 2021.
